SPANISH PROGRAMS + LEVELS + PRICES + ...and more here

Learn Spanish and Enjoy the Tropic of Costa Rica. The aim of the SFL Courses at ETC-CULTURAL is to provide non-Spanish speaking students with such a degree of competence in Spanish Language as to allow them to fulfill, efficiently their communications needs. Our courses are design to allow students to really communicate in the Spanish language.

For this reason our methodology is based on a new concept of “Total Immersion” in the Spanish language, Culture, Adventure Sports, Art, Music and Typical food.

All materials integrate Spanish language education in the four linguistic abilities: speaking, reading, understanding, and writing. An essential part of the SFL Courses are to teach the relevant aspects of the Hispanic culture, in general, and the Costa Rican culture, in particular, so that the student can learn how to speak Spanish by close interaction with the country's historical and social backgrounds. Excursions to the many natural wonders of Costa Rica, such as its National Parks, Biological Reserves, National Wildlife Refuge, Tropical Rain Forests, Beaches, Volcanoes, Museums and Sustainable Tourism will make your trip remarkable.

WHO WE ARE

The SFL Courses are taught by a team of native-speaking university professors with degrees and have experience in teaching Spanish to Foreigners and English as a Foreign Language. We are dedicated to working only with qualified instructors, so that students learning any language can rely on their instructor's ability to teach either their native language or a foreign one.

SPANISH PROGRAM

There are six levels: Beginner 1 and 2, Intermediate 1 and 2, and Advanced 1 and 2. Students are required to take an oral and written placement test to determine their proficiency level in Spanish.

Our group’s classes consist of four hours per day intensive linguistic study. This intensive program was designed to give students more free time during the weekend. Classes are scheduled in groups no larger than six students and individually to guarantee personalized attention. Schedule from Monday to Friday, offered mornings or afternoons according to space and students level. There are two ten-minute breaks between classes in which students and teachers enjoy coffee, juice, fruit and other snacks. Classes emphasize oral communication to achieve specific goals. Teachers are rotated to ensure that the student is exposed to a variety of Spanish accents.
